Long Hairpiece “Falls” have been used since ancient times to add needed length or volume to hair styling. Falls are offered in three styles, Straight, Ringlet or Spiral. Please specify in the check out form which style you would like.

Straight Style: This versatile straight hair piece can used to create the back loops of the 1770s, the long back ponytails of 1780s styles, coiled into buns for the Regency, 1840s or 1870s, chignons of the 1960s or used in any number of useful ways for other historic styles – your creativity is the limit! This Fall is approximately 25” long and 7” wide and is designed to be clipped into the head at the lower crown if worn as an extension or 18th century loop.

Ringlet Style: This versatile Ringlet Fall hairpiece can used to create the long hanging ringlet curls of 1780s styles, 1870s styles or other historic styles. The curls can also be pinned up to create the updos of the 1790s, 1810s, 1870s etc. This Fall is approximately 18” long and 7” wide and is designed to be clipped into the head at the lower crown.

Spiral Style: This versatile Spiral Curl hair piece was designed to more closely mimic naturally curly or coiled hair or hair curled with a small wand. It can used to create the updos of the late 17th century, Neoclassical styles of the 1790s, coiled into buns for the Regency, 1840s, 1870s or Edwardian era, or used in any number of useful ways for other historic styles – your creativity is the limit! This Fall is approximately 16-18” long and 7” wide.

Each fall is made from synthetic hair wefts in the color of your choice, for ease of use and long-lasting styling, mounted onto a netting base. It attaches securely with 5 high quality wig clips.

These hair pieces allow you to create quick period correct hair styles that are versatile, lightweight, comfortable and simple to achieve. They can be used with your own hair or as easy additions in wig styling.
